This is Little One. She is the heorin of our story. She lives in a campers van and she is a darling.
This is Barneby. He is the bad guy. He lives in the castle.
This is Princess, she is the victim. The princess lives in a Palace.
Once upon time, the Princess had been to the shops and bought a pastie and that was all. She came home and put her pastie in the fridge. She then went to watch Midsummer Murders on the TV. Barneby felt hunger but he was to lazy to go to the shops. He said to himself “I fancy a pastie. I know who has got a pastie.” So Barneby, snuck into the Palace and stole the Princess’s pastie out of her fridge. At 6 O’clock, in the evening, the Princess went to the fridge to get her pastie but there was no pastie. The Princess started to cry. Little One, who worked at the Palace came into the kitchen and said to the Princess “Stop crying princess. I will find the pastie for you.” So Little One started to look for clues. Little found muddy foot prints all over the floor. She followed them out of the Palace, through the gardens, down the road and up the hill to the castle. Little One knocked on the door. Barneby answers the door. Little One looked at Barneby’s shoes. His shoes were covered in mud. Little One said “You are a thef. You stole the Princess’s pastie.” Barneby laughed at Little One. Little One, went bright red and shouted, “Hand over the Princess’ pastie. Do you, do you intend to hand over the Princess’s pastie or shall I phone the police?” Barneby laughed again, and said “The worm has turned when you trod on it.” Little One phoned the police and said to them “You have to make Barneby hand over the pastie.” Two police went to Barneby’s Castle and they found the pastie in Barneby’s fridge. The policemen said “You thef. Hand over that pastie now.” Eventually, Barneby gave back the pastie. The policemen took the pastie back to the Princess and told Barneby not to do it again. The policemen went home, stopped off at the shops and bought themselves pasties for their tea. The Princess was so happy, that she shared her pastie with Little One.
