Ray loves the countryside and enjoys trying out her hand at market gardening at ‘Growing for Life’. She said that one of the best things she liked to do was looking at plants, fruit, vegetables and flowers all being grown.
In fact Sue was so taken by the chickens that she drew and coloured in a fantastic chicken picture to put up on the wall.
Sue liked the chickens at ‘Growing for Life’! They loved it when she gave them some treats to eat and in return laid some beautiful eggs.
Yes! They did. In fact we all had a slice in the cool shade under a great big oak tree at ‘Growing for Life’.
