The Co-ordin8 Friday Club have been meeting with researchers from Devon, linked to Plymouth. The sessions were very productive, and the joint researchers were able to express their opinions and hopefully support change in the working practice of staff in various settings from residential to medical.
They were encouraged by Felix, Rachel, Zoe and Archnan, ate lots of German Torte and laughed and shed a few tears together.
Friday Club members said that they had appreciated being listened to and having their opinions valued.
We are now looking forward to the next stage of the process hopefully in the Autumn when we can share our findings with others. However, here in a preview of the fist draft of the leaflet being produced to summarise the work.
