We went to a workshop run by Kenrow Education Arts Partnership, KEAP, and wrote our own mystery story as well as visit the Museum at Torre Abbey. Once upon a time there was a lovely lady called Fiona who loved doing crafts, unless it was too hot. She loved colouring, eating macaroni, spaghetti Bolognese, lasagne and drinking tea, coffee and juice. But best of all she loved eating cake, especially chocolate cake, but not too much.
She loved going for walks in the fresh air and watching telly especially channel 46, all the oldies. She loves quizzes.
Her favourite pop act is West Life, she loves Gary Barlow, but when she was a teenager she loved David Cassidy and Cliff Richards, too.
To learn something and receive education is a privilege and not all the world have this luxury – to learn in an environment that caters to my specific needs is almost impossible to find, yet in Torbay a group of community tutors have moved some way to this ideal goal of all educators.
