Calling all artists! This Is Me - Here I Am, second exhibition

As a celebration for the end of our Arts Council Grant, Co-ordin8 with others are planning a number of art-based activities including a This Is Me – Here I Am exhibition at the Spanish Barn from 16 to 19 March 2020.

Call for artists

If you or someone you know would like to contribute to the exhibition we would be grateful if you would contact us firstly by email to register interest at: co-ordin84action@hotmail.com, and have the piece to us no later than Friday 6 March 2020, (if you are entering a picture please frame if possible), we can then curate the art work and display it in the Spanish Barn, Torquay. We will let you know the opening times for that venue.

Activities

We can only open the Spanish Barn to visitors if we have someone on duty, which could also mean groups could be run in the Barn to show off our work. So if you could help by staffing or running your activity there at any time during these dates please let us know, even for a few hours.

You will be able to collect your work from Paignton Parish Church Hall from Friday 27 March 2020. We are not able to take responsibility for any damage to pieces, but please be assured we will take great care of your entry.

We would be grateful if you could attach some details to each entry; Name of artist, contact details for artist, title of the piece and/or inspiration for the piece.

Prizes and certificates

The exhibition will end with a celebration on Friday 27 March at Paignton Parish Hall and all are welcome. Prizes will be given to the best pieces displayed after they have been judged by a local artist, all who take part will be given a certificate.
