3D Art

This session starts with a different craft project each week, promoting decision-making, colour recognition using a wide range of materials, and trying things you have not done before.
Then the students can make a choice of what they would like to do from model making,
textile work, wood craft, or mosaic.
Healthy life styles

This session is to promote all-round health.
Starting with a lite warm up and tai chi exercises then moving on to team games.
This will test a students agility, dexterity, flexibility, and reactions, as well as improving
memory skills by using a wide range of equipment.
This session also includes the ingredients for students to choose and make themselves
a healthy lunch.
Thursday coffee morning

This is a drop-in session where students can come and have fun with their friends as well as meeting new people.
Students can come along with any questions and get advice and support from the staff to gain the right outcome.
This venue has good technology in order to provide the latest entertainment on a large screen, and students can join in on a number of memory games that are played.
Saturday club

This session is designed to offer a wide range of life skills in order to promote more independence.
This includes planning and preparing a two-course meal every week and all the house keeping you associate with this activity. Along with personal hygiene, and preparing the environment.
Then in the afternoon we look at numeracy and literacy using a wide range of fun activities.
We also work on seasonal projects.
Gardening Group

The Gardens Group allows our students to access gardening from many dimensions and on the individuals ability, from a therapeutic level of experiencing the outdoor environment, to working practically in developing personal skills and a working knowledge in crop and ornamental plant production.
Edible plants produced and harvested by the group are used as part of our ‘Grow It, Cook It , Eat It!’ activities, whilst joint project working in ornamental plant production also allows for the development of social, communication and interpersonal skills.Related wet/cold weather activities for this session are conducted indoors.
