Due to current health concerns around coronavirus this event has been postponed.

Once again Co-ordin8 students and staff are hoping to put together a half a mile of pennies at The Coverdale Hall, Paignton Parish Church.
Following the appeal (see the poster!) collected coppers will be gathered up, tables will be set out and lines of pennies painstakingly placed in line. All hands will be on on deck to help see if we can break last years record of ver 5,000 individual coins!

Shane Robinson, tutor with Co-ordin8 said: ‘Last year a grand total of an eighth of a mile was achieved, which was not quite as far as the target but none the less the effort was amazing and was of benefit not only as a fundraiser but also a fun exercise in counting, measuring, maintaining and improving dexterity and fine motor skills with our students.
‘Last year, when tallied up kind donations, amounted to over £200! So a big thank you for all of the kind support from local students, parents, carers, friends and the public in donating their spare coppers to help make this such a fantastic annual event.

‘All of our students will directly benefit from all the monies raised which will be used to purchase new materials and equipment to enrich their sessions.’
Co-ordin8 is a charity providing a range of meaningful activities for people with learning disabilities. Places on various sessions are available. For more information contact: co-ordin84action@hotmail.com or call: 07548943294
