Barry was a real star at the interactive games session using the wii. Nobody else could not keep up! Plane making and flying at ‘Growing for Life”was a bit hit with everybody…Who’s went the furthest? Ray took this picture of some of her favourite flowers growing one summers day, when she tried out ‘Click Photography’ at ‘Growing For Life’. Ray loves the countryside and enjoys trying out her hand at market gardening at ‘Growing for Life’. She said that one of the best things she liked to do was looking at plants, fruit, vegetables and flowers all being grown. In fact Sue was so taken by the chickens that she drew and coloured in a fantastic chicken picture to put up on the wall. Sue liked the chickens at ‘Growing for Life’! They loved it when she gave them some treats to eat and in return laid some beautiful eggs. Yes! They did. In fact we all had a slice in the cool shade under a great big oak tree at ‘Growing for Life’. Shane and Spencer try their baking skills out making a colourful pizza in the traditional clay oven at ‘Growing for Life’. Did they share it? Grow it, Cook it, Eat it! Dale makes a tasty, healthy treat using hand harvested crops in the Log Cabin Country Kitchen at ‘Growing for Life’, Preston, Torbay.
